MAPLE GROVE, Minn., Oct. 6 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Affinity Gold Corp. (OTC Bulletin Board: AFYG) ("Affinity" or the "Company") announces assay results from samples taken to date from the Company's alluvial gold project in San Gaban - Carabaya, Puno, Peru.

"We are absolutely thrilled about the results of our sampling and assay testing so far and continue to believe the results support our belief that the San Gaban - Carabaya, Puno, Peru project has the potential of becoming a world-class alluvial gold-producing mine in the near future," says CEO & President Mr. Antonio Rotundo.

Highlights:

-- Approximately 10 to 15% of the property has been tested and sampled.
-- In addition to the very positive indications of gold content, the assay
results also indicate considerable levels of silver. The Company has yet
        to conduct metallurgical testing.
-- A limited number of test pits and sampling on other parts of the
property have been positive for coarse gold. We have not produced or
sampled gold concentrate from these pits. We will continue to sample all
of the property owned by the company.
-- We are currently sourcing additional mobile equipment, as well as
mineral processing equipment to maximize the amount of gold concentrate
        produced.

-- The Company is currently in the process of producing a 43-101-compliant
        Technical Report.

Assay Results:

-- Four (4) gold concentrate assays ranged from 11.997 to 25.019 ounces per
        tonne
-- Five (5) gold concentrate assays ranged from 47.04 to 75.48 ounces per
        tonne

        returned .348 ounces per tonne

(prior to going through wash plant) returned an assay of .088 ounces per
        tonne
