Agentix Corp. Appoints Rudy Mazzocchi as Chief Executive Officer

Agentix Corp. is a clinical-stage biotechnology company. The Company is engaged in developing therapeutic agents for the treatment of metabolic diseases like Type 2 diabetes mellitus, obesity, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) and non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH). Its pipeline includes AGTX-2004 and AGTX-2003. AGTX-2004 is a peripherally-acting CB1 receptor antagonist that has demonstrated efficacy in animal models of obesity and type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). AGTX-2003 is a peripherally-acting CB1 receptor inverse agonist that has demonstrated efficacy in animal models of obesity and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease. The Company is focused on the development of synthetic agonists, inverse agonists, and antagonists, which modulate the endocannabinoid system (ECS).
