Airbus Helicopters and Babcock announce that they have been awarded a 12-year contract by the Direction de la Maintenance Aéronautique, starting this year, to support 48 EC145 helicopters operated by the French Ministry of the Interior.

The contract covers 33 Civil Security and 15 Gendarmerie helicopters at 41 bases. It covers technical support, the supply of spare parts, logistics solutions, technical data management and software support.

The aircraft in question are used for search and rescue, emergency medical services and fire-fighting missions, while those of the Gendarmerie are also engaged in law enforcement operations.
