Airbus said that Turkish Airlines will place an order for another 220 aircraft.

The French plane maker said that the order from Turk Hava Yollari, the Turkish flag carrier, is expected to include 150 of the its A321 planes and 70 of its A350 wide-body aircraft.

Among the 70 A350-family aircraft to be ordered, the company will order 50 A350-900s, 15 A350-1000s and 5 A350F freighters.

The expected order means Turkish Airlines will have ordered 504 Airbus aircraft, 212 of which are delivered, Airbus said Friday.

The expected order follows two prior orders from the airline this year placed in September and July.
