Allied Healthcare Products Inc. Reports Earnings Results for the Fourth Quarter and Full Year Ended June 30, 2015

Allied Healthcare Products Inc. reported a net loss of $1.8 million in fiscal 2015, narrower than the nearly $2.8 million loss it posted last fiscal year on lower expenses. The company reported fiscal 2015 net sales of $35.5 million, down 2.5% from fiscal 2014. Domestic sales grew by $100,000 and international sales fell by $1 million. In fiscal 2015, the company's net sales were comprised of respiratory care products (26%), medical gas equipment (53%) and emergency medical products (21%). That compares with 27%, 53% and 20%, respectively, in fiscal 2014.
The company reported a loss of $521,000 in its fiscal fourth quarter, compared with a loss of $347 million in the prior year's quarter. Sales fell 7% in the quarter ended June 30, to $9.1 million.
Allied Healthcare Products, Inc. manufactures a variety of respiratory products used in the health care industry in a range of hospital and alternate site settings, including sub-acute care facilities, home health care and emergency medical care. The Companyâs product lines include respiratory care products, medical gas equipment and emergency medical products. Its suction regulators and aspirators include Chemetron Vacuum Traps, Disposable Collection Canisters, Gomco Suction Equipment, Gomco OptiVac AC/DC Portable Suction Unit, Gomco 305 Aspirator, Gomco Tabletop Aspirator Model 300, Gomco General Use Aspirators Models 3020 & 3040, and Gomco Uterine Aspirators Models 3930 & 4072. Its ventilators include AHP300 Transport Ventilator, EPV100/EPV200 Emergency Preparedness Ventilators, LSP AutoVent 2000/3000 Transport Ventilator, and LSP AutoVent 4000 Transport Ventilator. Its emergency medical products are used in the treatment of trauma-induced injuries.
