The board of directors of APAC Resources Limited announced that the interim results of the company and its subsidiaries (the Group) for the six months ended 31 December 2012 are expected to record a substantial increase in profits as compared with that for the six months ended 31 December 2011. The significant improvement in profitability is mainly attributable to a close to breakeven result for the resource investment business compared to a substantial loss recorded for the 2011 Period.
