SHERMAN OAKS, Calif. (AP) _ Cherokee Inc. (APEX) on Tuesday reported a loss of $1.3 million in its fiscal second quarter.

On a per-share basis, the Sherman Oaks, California-based company said it had a loss of $2.38. Losses, adjusted for restructuring gains, came to $2.52 per share.

The brand management company posted revenue of $4.4 million in the period.

Cherokee shares have decreased 27% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, shares hit $5.72, a drop of 75% in the last 12 months.
