Aquila Resources Inc. has scored another recruiting coup, appointing former Rio Tinto executive Denise Goldsworthy as a non-executive director. Ms Goldsworthy was the Telstra Businesswoman of the Year in 2010 and held a number of roles at Rio, including chief commercial officer of its autonomous haul trucks program, managing director of Dampier Salt and director of major projects at its iron ore division. She is the second high-profile recruit to the Aquila board in the past three months, coming after former Gindalbie Metals boss Tim Netscher signed on in November as a replacement for Aquila founder Charles Bass.
