Ásgeir H. Reykfjörð Gylfason has decided to leave Arion Bank and pursue other opportunities after having served as Deputy CEO and managing director of Corporate & Investment Banking since 2019. Ásgeir will leave his position in the coming days. Iða Brá Benediktsdóttir, managing director of Retail Banking, will now also become Deputy CEO and will lead Arion Bank and Vörður's growth on the insurance market.

Hákon Hrafn Gröndal, credit manager in the Corporate & Investment Banking division, has been appointed managing director of Corporate & Investment Banking and has joined the Bank's executive committee. Margrét Sveinsdóttir is also leaving the Bank after having served as managing director of Asset Management, and later Markets, since 2009. Margrét will step down in the next few weeks.

Jóhann Möller, who has been managing director of Stefnir for the last couple of years, has been appointed managing director of Markets and will join the executive committee in the next few weeks.
