ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih has ranked first in "Transparency Index" rating among the largest companies of Ukraine
Kryvyi Rih, October 10, 2014. ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih is a leader of "Transparency Index" rating among the largest companies of Ukraine in 2014. Rating, complied by the Center of CSR Development distinguishes the level of transparency and available access of information about corporate responsibility on the internet web-site compared with the web-sites of other Ukrainian companies. By the results of the rating level of openness and transparency of ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih corporate web-site amounted to 87%.
Within the rating ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih web-site has been graded by four criteria of transparency:
• reporting - presence of report on activity of the company in the social and environmental spheres;
• content - the level of openness of information by key spheres of corporate responsibility;
• navigation - easy reader 's access to the information for social and environmental responsibilities of the company;
• availability - potential availability of the web-site (such aspects as language of the web-site, presence of contact information, adjustment for people with disabilities).
One of the key factors for reaching the leader position in the rating was the complex renewal of the web-site of the plant in accordance with ArcelorMittal corporate standards in 2013. The web-site was re-launched and there were functional opportunities of all three language versions developed on the web-site, navigation was improved, that allows quick search of needed information regarding activities of ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih, its products and services. Within the adjustment of functionality of the web-site the content of Corporate Responsibility section has been significantly improved with accordance of the requirements of "Transparency Index" national rating, and also feedback form for the guests of the web-site has been improved.

Organizer of "Transparency Index" rating is the Center of CSR Development that is leading expertise organization on corporate social responsibility in Ukraine, which is a member of the Board of Global Agreement of UN, national partner of CSR Europe(Brussels) and WBCSD member (Genève). Annually in Ukraine, since 2011, the Center of CSR Development composes "Transparency Index" rating of Ukrainian companies' web-sites based on the international method, developed by Beyond Business (Israel) and the Center of CSR Development. "Transparency Index" rating was founded by the Center of CSR Development aimed at encouragement of Ukrainain companies for more information disclosure for corporate responsibility issues. In 2014 "Transparency Index" rating was held for the fourth time among Ukrainian companies. In 2014 115 companies became the participants of the rating, among which are DTEK, SCM, Obolon, Metinvest, Carlsberg Ukraine, Kyivstar, OKKO-Business (Galnaftogas Concern), Dniprospetsstal and others.
In 2013 ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih web-site has been ranked second in the transparency rating among web-sites of the largest companies of Ukraine, in 2012 the company has been ranked fourth .
