PJSC ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih Supplies Rolled Products for Construction of Wind Power Plants
Kryvyi Rih, August, 23, 2018. PJSC ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih has won a rebars drop shipment contract for construction of new wind power plant (WPP) in Over'yanovka village of Khersonskyi region. Rebars of the enterprise are used for raising foundations for wind-powered generators of new power generation plant in the southern part of Ukraine.
Khersonskyi region is one of the leading regions in Ukraine regarding development of "clean energy". New wind power plant in Over'yanovka village will consist of 12 turbines of 41 MWt aggregate capacity. Object commissioning is scheduled for Q3 2018. Windkraft company intents on construction of two wind parks consisting of 42 wind electric plants of 140 MWt aggregate capacity in Novotroitskoe and Over'yanovka villages in total.
Supplies of steel products of PJSC ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih for construction of renewable energy objects in Khersonskyi region was started in 2017. Complete assortment of А500С rebars of 8-32 mm diameter and 12 m length is used for construction of two new Novotroitskaya and Over'yanovskaya wind power plants. Shipments are done by both railway and motor transport. The total scope of supply of rebars is 1681 t in 2017 and 151 t in 2018 (by now).
