Atos announces that its Eviden business line has been selected by the Grand Equipement National de Calcul Intensif (GENCI) and the CNRS to provide a major extension to the capacities of the Jean Zay supercomputer, financed as part of France 2030.

This new computing infrastructure, powered by Nvidia processors and operated by the CNRS's Institut de développement et de ressources en informatique scientifique, will be installed in April and will be fully available to users in early summer.

This extension to the Jean Zay supercomputer will increase its peak computing power from 36.85 to 125.9 PFlop/s. This will help boost the capabilities of the French AI sector in international competition.
