TAMPA, Fla. (AP) _ AutoWeb Inc. (AUTO) on Monday reported a first-quarter loss of $4.3 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.

The Tampa, Florida-based company said it had a loss of 32 cents per share. Losses, adjusted for stock option expense, were 28 cents per share.

The provider of marketing services for automakers and dealers posted revenue of $19.1 million in the period.

In the final minutes of trading on Monday, the company's shares hit $2.27. A year ago, they were trading at $2.65.
