Banco Santander has announced the appointment of a head for retail banking and transformation. The firm has announced the appointment of Swati Bhatia to the position. The move comes as the bank is aiming to transform retail banking operations in the US.
The appointment is effective immediately and Bhatia is to take charge of US Consumer and Business Banking and all related digital transformation initiatives. Bhatia most recently led the Marcus business at Goldman Sachs.
