Banyan Gold Corp. announced the appointment of Rob Carne to Banyan's Advisory Board. Rob Carne is a Professional Geologist with more than 35 years of experience in the Yukon.

Mr. Carne was a principal with Archer, Cathro & Associates (1981) Limited from 1981 to 2002. He is currently the President and Director for ATAC Resources and corecipient of the H.H. "Spud" Huestis Award for Excellence in Prospecting and Mineral Exploration for the discovery of Carlin style mineralization at ATAC's Rackla Gold project.
