BASF will be presenting new recycling concepts and methods for polyurethanes at the UTECH trade fair in Maastricht.

The leading international trade fair and conference for the global polyurethane industry will be held from April 23 to 25 in Maastricht, the Netherlands.

BASF offers new developments in sustainable materials and recycling methods for various industries. Foams can be 100% recycled and used as raw material for new foams.

' With the development of our 'designed for recycling' foam, we have a new type of product that allows polyurethane waste to be used as raw material for new foams,' explains Dr. Lukas Wilm, R&D PU Flexible Foams, BASF Polyurethanes.

' The foam can be reintroduced into the materials cycle and used for new products in various fields of application such as automotive, footwear and furniture'.
