BDI - BioEnergy International AG: Annual General Meeting resolves dividend payment

(Grambach, May 20, 2016): This year's Annual General Meeting of BDI - BioEnergy International AG has endorsed the proposal of the Management Board and Supervisory Board of a dividend payment amounting to 0.50 Euro per ordinary share. The distribution is to take place on May 30, 2016. All shareholders who receive their holdings before May 25, 2016 are entitled to the dividend payment (Ex day). Shareholders who receive their holdings past this date are thus not entitled to a dividend payment (Record day).
'After the successful financial year 2015, we are pleased to be able to pay our shareholders a dividend and thus let them participate in the success of the company. In addition, the continued strong equity position as well as the high order backlog secures a positive outlook', says Mag. Andreas Ehart, CFO of BDI - BioEnergy International AG.
At the Annual General Meeting the Management Board explained the corporate strategy of BDI. The new organizational structure - including the three mutually independent segments 'Waste to Value', 'Chemical Processing' as well as 'Life Science' - serves as the healthy basis for the future development of the company. With the generation of the valuable algae product 'Astaxanthin' as well as the development of additional biotechnological products the focus of the presentation was laid especially on the new Life Science segment. In the future, attention will be paid in all three segments especially to the expansion of the core competencies as well as the strengthening of own innovations.
At this year's Annual general Meeting of BDI 80,69 per cent of the share capital were present. The Annual General Meeting agreed to all of the agenda points with majorities. The voting results of the Annual General Meeting will be published under www.bdi-bioenergy.com in the segment Investor Relations under 'Annual General Meeting 2016'.
