(Alliance News) - Beazley on Thursday announced Chief Financial Officer Sally Lake will step down in 2024 after five years in the role and 18 years at the company.

Beazley is the parent company of insurance businesses operating in Europe, North America, Latin America and Asia.

The company said it will begin the process to hire Lake's successor.

Chief Executive Officer Adrian Cox said: "Sally's commitment to an orderly succession will conclude a remarkable career with Beazley.

"We will thank Sally wholeheartedly for her leadership and valued contribution when she leaves next year, and wish her every success in her next chapter."

Shares in Beazley were up 2.1% at 543.00 pence each in London on Thursday morning.
