On April 10, 2024, National Legal and Policy Center filed an exempt solicitation statement soliciting proxies and urged the shareholders of Berkshire Hathaway Inc. to vote for a shareholder proposal, requesting that, beginning in 2024, the Company report annually to shareholders on the nature and extent to which corporate operations depend on, and are vulnerable to, Communist China, which is a serial human rights violator, a geopolitical threat, and an adversary to the United States.
