Nishio Rent All Co Ltd has placed orders for 10 Ironhand® 2.0 systems at an order value of kSEK 500. The order is a result of an increasing interest in Ironhand from industrial customers in Japan.

Nishio and Bioservo signed an agreement in late 2020 for renting and selling Ironhand to the construction, plant construction and maintenance industries in Japan. Since then, they have been involved in several projects with contractors within various industries.

With all new features that came with Ironhand 2.0, including new sensor areas, improved speed, and the possibility to generate digital ergonomic risk reports, they see even more business potential.

"Japan is on the forefront when it comes to implementing new technology, and we are excited over the business potential brought by Nishio." Says Petter Bäckgren, CEO at Bioservo. "Another sign of the increased interest for Ironhand in Japan is winning the award Japan Challenge for Society 5.0, an award handed out by the Japan external trade organization aiming to support collaborations with Japanese companies and municipalities. Their new blueprint for a super-smart society, Society 5.0, envisions a sustainable, inclusive socio-economic system, powered by digital technologies such as big data analytics, artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things and robotics."
