Bank of Moscow and Moscow Department of Social Welfare Introduce Social Assistant Electronic Application

The Bank of Moscow participates in the project of Moscow Department of Social Welfare to improve home social services.

In the frames of the project, together with the Institute of Additional Professional Education of the Social Sphere Employees, a pilot start-up of an information system, including 'Social Assistant' application for the Tablet PC, was carried out. This application is socially oriented and supported by the Bank of Moscow as a payment service, operating on the basis of the Bank's Single Payment Platform.

With this application less mobile citizens will be able to make payments for housing and public utilities services, mobile communication, paid social services, food orders, etc. using Muscovites' social card (MSC) and other bank cards. In the frames of the project there also be provided a support of social employees for payments procedures execution.

The main feature of the application is that the payment order, including purchases in different stores, is proceeded by one transaction for the better comfort of citizens. After that the Bank splits all the payments to the goods suppliers.

A union of innovation technologies of the Bank's application and specialists of Social Institutions, who will provide the necessary consultation and support in ordering, ensure a reliability of the service. The Bank traditionally offered special conditions to the holders of MSC cards. All payments made by Moscow Social Card are proceeded without any commission for its holder.

Clients will be able to evaluate the convenience of this service at the Territorial Social Service Centres of Moscow, which participate in the pilot project: Novogireevo, Orekhovo, Vostochnoe Izmailovo, Yuzhnoportovy and Kolomenskoye.th of June.
