Greece issued 3.5 billion euros ($3.85 billion) in new July 2038-dated government bonds via a bank syndicate on Tuesday, one of the lead managers said.

The spread on the bond was set 125 basis points above mid-swaps, the same bank said. The bond has a 4.375% coupon and it was priced at 99.042 at a yield of 4.464%, it said.

Joint lead managers of the transaction were BNP Paribas, BofA Securities, Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs Bank Europe SE, J.P. Morgan and National Bank of Greece.
