Bosch Limited reported earnings results for the fourth quarter and full year ended March 31, 2023. For the fourth quarter, the company reported sales was INR 40,634 million compared to INR 33,110 million a year ago. Revenue was INR 41,992 million compared to INR 33,982 million a year ago. Net income was INR 3,981 million compared to INR 3,509 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 134.99 compared to INR 119 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 134.99 compared to INR 119 a year ago.
For the full year, sales was INR 149,293 million compared to INR 117,816 million a year ago. Revenue was INR 154,025 million compared to INR 121,724 million a year ago. Net income was INR 14,255 million compared to INR 12,183 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 483.32 compared to INR 413.07 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 483.32 compared to INR 413.07 a year ago.
Bosch is an industrial group that is organized around two product families:
- automotive components and accessories (85.3% of net sales): injection systems, chassis control systems, propulsion systems, generators, mechatronic components and systems, multimedia systems, etc.;
- other (14.7%): mass market products (electric tools and appliances), Industrial equipment (control and industrial automation systems, packaging systems, etc.), and building solutions (heating systems, detection, access control, video surveillance and intrusion detection systems, etc.). In addition, the group offers solar energy solutions.
At the end of March 2018, Bosch has 8 production sites located in India.
