Cooperation between IUS and Bosnalijek

Today High Delegation of the International University of Sarajevo IUS led by rector professor doctor Yücel Oğurlu was on its first, several-hour-long visit to Bosnalijek d.d. (Bosnalijek). Along with IUS Rector, Bosnalijek was visited by a vice chancellor for general affairs assistant professor Dr. Muhamed Ali, vice-chancellor for international cooperation and research associate professor Dr. Ali Gürsel, general secretary Emir Hadžikadunić, deputy general secretary Armin Kerić and program coordinator for Visual arts and communication design, associate professor Kenan Zekić.

The guests were received by Bosnalijek CEO Nedim Uzunović together with Belma Abazović - Executive Director of Production and Development, Nermin Zubčević - Executive Director of Quality and Regulation, Ekrem Turajlić - Sales Department Director, Igor Martinović - Business Development Department Director, Razija Peco - Assistant Director for Legal Affairs and Human Resources Department Director and Zinaida Babović- PR Department Director.

Aspects of cooperation at academic, research and corporate levels were considered. Considering the international character of both institutions/organizations, the quality of work and tendency towards improvement of cooperation between higher education institutions and the industry, a mutual willingness was expressed for future joint action.

The guests from IUS expressed great satisfaction with what they saw in Bosnalijek, especially with highly professional atmosphere, modern business and technological environment and capacities and long and rich history of operations.

Bosnalijek's CEO Nedim Uzunović thanked the guests for making it possible, through their work at IUS, for foreign students to learn more about Bosnia and Herzegovina and become BiH ambassadors in their countries of origin.

Today's visit is one of the steps towards formalization of official cooperation between these two institutions/organizations.
