Bradken : HCM Ltd Takeover Offer - South African Clearance Received

Bradken Limited (ASX:BKN) advises that Hitachi Construction Machinery Co., Ltd. (HCM) and Bradken have received a notice from the South African Competition Commission stating that it approves the proposed acquisition by HCM of a controlling interest of up to 100% in Bradken. This satisfies the South African competition approval condition to HCM's takeover offer.

Following satisfaction of this condition there remain 2 outstanding Regulatory Approval Conditions, US foreign investment (CFIUS) approval and the ITAR registration condition (DDTC approval).
