Brewin Dolphin has promoted an investment manager to lead its Winchester office as the current head of the branch retires. Adam Jarvis, currently a senior investment manager in the office, will take on the role from the 1 July. He will replace the office’s current head David de Krester, who is retiring after having held the role for two-and-a-half years after Brewin Dolphin acquired his Basingstoke-based advice firm Aylwin. De Krester. who has around 30 years’ experience in financial planning, had founded Aylwin in 2002. Jarvis joined Brewin Dolphin in 2006 as an investment manager upon graduating from university, before moving up the ranks to become senior investment manager in 2015. Brewin Dolphin London & south east regional managing director William Hepburne-Scott said the his promotion was intended to take the office to ‘the next level’ as the firm continues to expand its presence in Hampshire and neighbouring counties.
