Brigus Gold Corp. ("Brigus" or the "Company") (NYSE Amex: BRD; TSX: BRD) will conduct a teleconference in conjunction with its first quarter earnings release on Tuesday, May 14, 2013. Brigus also announces the retirement of Charles E. Stott from the board of directors which will take effect at this year's AGM. Mr. Stott has served the Company since 2002 as a director and was the former chairman of Apollo Gold Corporation, the predecessor company of Brigus. The board of directors and senior management team are grateful to Mr. Stott for his many contributions and wishes him well in his retirement. Mr. Stott's duties will be assumed by the existing board members.
