NOTICE TO SHAREHOLDERS - BOARD CHANGES

RETIREMENTS

Alvord Mabena has retired from the Board with effect 24 August 2023 after serving on the Board for 25 years.

Gideon Johannes Hendrik Steyn has retired from the Board with effect 24 August 2023 after serving on the Board for 8 years.

The Company would like to thank Alvord and Gideon for their service to the Board.

NEW APPOINTMENTS

Joshua Tapambgwa was appointed as Non-Executive Director on 24 August 2023. Joshua trained as a Chartered Accountant with Arthur Young and Company which is now EY. He is married and has two children. He studied for a Bachelor of Accountancy Honours degree at the University of Zimbabwe. Joshua has worked for a lot of organizations particularly as an Accountant and other high level positions. He has worked for the following:- LEYLAND ZIMBABWE, LONRHO MINING, CAFCA LTD, SOUTH AFRICAN BREWERIES and STANBIC BANK ZIMBABWE. Joshua spent a total of 18 years with Stanbic Bank Zimbabwe where he worked as Head of Finance as well as Finance Director. He was promoted to the position of Managing Director and worked in that capacity for 13 years. He left the bank on early retirement. He is of a Christian background and enjoys running and music.

Luis Corte was appointed as Non-Executive Director on 24 August 2023. Luis was born in Mexico and is married with two daughters. Luis graduated with Honors second best grade of Generation at the Instituto Tecnologico de Puebla Mexico and was awarded a Bachelor's degree in science in Engineering, Industrial Electronics (1983 - 1987). In 1988 - 1992 Luis furthered his education of doing a master's degree in business administration and master's degree in Mechatronics. Luis has worked for several companies which include Telmag plant CONELEC Mexico - as an Engineer, Apizaco Plant Conductores Monterrey Mexico, Metal Fabricators of Zambia Ltd, Phelps Dodge International Corporation Sub Sahara Africa as the Managing Director, Operations General Cable Iberia Barcelona Spain - coordination the Manufacturing functions for 3 factories in Catalunya, Spain and Portugal. He was also vice president in operations for General Cable sub-Sahara Africa - Barcelona, Spain and Durban and South Africa. He worked as Managing Director for Optimum Manufacturing Solutions Pvt Ltd, he was Director in Strategy and Business Development at Mark Cables in Dubai UAE, Angola and Rwanda. He was a Business Analyst at Reunert Management services - seconded to CBI African cables. Currently he is the Managing Director at AFCAB Pty Ltd. He enjoys paying beach volleyball.
