In recent years, the orthotropic steel deck solution has become increasingly popular with owners when it comes to building new bridges or rehabilitating existing structures.

At the Canadian Institute of Steel Construction's (CISC's) 9th Annual Steel Symposium taking place on Monday, May 1, 2017, at Hôtel Mortagne in Boucherville, two engineers from Canam-Bridges -Frédéric Bergeron and Maxime Ampleman-will give a presentation on this solution as used in real projects. The presentation will focus on optimizing this type of solution and the applications for which the orthotropic steel deck is the preferred solution.
