PROGRESS OF LEGAL PROCEEDINGS

This announcement is made by Capinfo Company Limited* (the "Company") pursuant to Rule 13.09 of the Rules Governing the Listing of Securities on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited and the Inside Information Provisions under Part XIVA of the Securities and Futures Ordinance (Chapter 571 of the Laws of Hong Kong), in relation to the progress of legal proceedings. Unless otherwise defined, capitalized terms used in this announcement shall have the same meanings as defined in the Announcement (as defined hereunder).

PROGRESS OF LEGAL PROCEEDINGS

Reference is made to the announcement of the Company dated 19 July 2019 (the "Announcement") in relation to the summons and notice of participation to action received by the Company and issued by the Xiamen Intermediate People's Court of Fujian Province* (福建省廈門市中級人民法院), and the civil proceedings instituted to the Xiamen Intermediate People's Court by Xiamen Ruitailong Investment Development Company Limited* (廈門銳泰隆投資發展有限公司) ("Xiamen Ruitailong").

The details of the legal proceeding at the Xiamen Intermediate People's Court mentioned in the Announcement are as follows: The Xiamen Intermediate People's Court rejected the lawsuit brought by the plaintiff, Xiamen Ruitailong, on 26 March 2020. Xiamen Ruitailong refused to accept the first- instance ruling of the Xiamen Intermediate People's Court and appealed to the Fujian Provincial People's High Court* (福建省高級人民法院) on 17 April 2020. At the second instance, Fujian Provincial People's High Court ruled that the appeal lodged by Xiamen Ruitailong be dismissed and the original ruling be upheld.

IMPACT OF THE LEGAL PROCEEDINGS ON THE GROUP

The board of directors of the Company is of the view that, as the legal proceedings of the Xiamen Intermediate People's Court have been concluded, the normal operation of the Group is expected remain unaffected. The Company's legal proceeding mentioned in the announcement dated 23 August 2019 are still in progress, and the Company's criminal investigation case mentioned in the announcement dated 24 August 2018 is still in the investigation stage. The Company will make further announcement(s) to keep its shareholders and potential investors informed of any significant development of the legal proceedings as and when appropriate.

Meanwhile, shareholders of the Company and potential investors are advised to exercise caution when dealing in the securities of the Company.
