In Brazil, the remoteness of the coasts, the sometimes extreme weather conditions and the limitation of physical space, give the offshore sites a unique operational complexity. Several hundred people work and live on offshore sites, the famous iron islands.

The Project is one of the spearheads of oil production in Brazil with nearly 150 mil barrels/day and a potential 10 billion until 2052.
