Chimcomplex Announces Three Top Executives to Strengthen Management Team

Bucharest, September 11, 2023. Chimcomplex, the leading producer and supplier of vital chemicals in the region, announces the consolidation of its management team with three professionals with extensive experience in leading multinational companies in key industries.

Mr. Răzvan Dogărelu takes over the position of Chief Supply Chain Officer with a 4-year mandate. With a rich career in Procurement and Supply, Finance, Innovation, Product Development, IT and Digital Transformation, Mr. Dogărelu has made significant contributions to multinational companies active in agri-business and the aluminum industry. He is a fervent promoter of responsibility, operational excellence, innovative and strategic thinking, focusing on human resource development and long-term sustainable growth. With economic and financial studies at ASE Bucharest and a Master's degree in Business Administration from WU Business University in Vienna, as well as multiple specializations in finance, procurement & negotiation, project management, people management and leadership, Lean&6Sigma, Mr. Dogărelu brings solid expertise and strategic vision to the Chimcomplex team.

Mr. Călin Pop takes over the position of Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) of Chimcomplex with a 4- year mandate. He brings with him over 30 years of commercial and general management experience in multinational companies such as P&G, Nestle, Philip Morris and Borealis. Mr. Pop has successfully developed new markets in Europe and carried out efficient restructuring into companies in the field of consumer goods and chemicals. As an active member of Fertilizers Europe, the European Association of Fertilizer Producers, he has contributed to the development of European regulations for industry and to major European projects related to the international market. With a degree obtained at the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, Mr. Pop comes with a broad vision and solid knowledge in the commercial field.

Mr. Adrian Constantin Volintiru takes over the position of Energy Director for a 4-year mandate. With an extensive professional career Mr. Volintiru previously held the position of CEO at Romgaz and various leadership positions in organizations such as Hidroelectrica, Posta Romana and Rompetrol, but also as Secretary of State at the Ministry of Economy and President of the Authority for State Assets Management. His experience in natural gas, energy and strategic planning will bring valuable insight and essential skills to our team.
