China CNR : First Batch of Locomotive for Congo shipped

On April 8, 2015, after eighteen CKD8C1 type of diesel locomotives manufactured by one of China CNR subsidiaries, Beijing Feb. 7th Railway Transportation Equipment Co., Ltd. past very strict inspection tests, were loading on board to depart for Congo. The diesel locomotives adopted six-axles electric drive and will apply to passengers & goods double services, which will be operated in the railway network in Congo.

Congo government paid much attention to this project and focus on the quantity and tight delivery schedule. The successful delivery of first batch is a witness for good cooperation between parties.
