China Coal Energy Company Limited provided consolidated earnings guidance for the six months ended June 30, 2017. The board of directors of the company announced that based on preliminary estimates of the unaudited consolidated management accounts of the Group in accordance with Chinese Accounting Standards for Business Enterprises, the net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company for the six months ended June 30, 2017 of the Group is expected to range from RMB 1,500 million to RMB 1,800 million, whereas the net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company for the same period of 2016 was RMB 616,407,000. The Board considered that the expected increase in net profit for the six months ended June 30, 2017 is due to the coal price gradually picked up and kept maintaining stable in the first half of 2017.
