HMV Digital China Group Limited provided group earnings guidance for the nine months ended 31 March 2019. For the nine months, the company announced that the group is expected to record a loss of approximately HKD 1.2 billion for the nine months ended 31 March 2019 as compared to the corresponding period in 2018. The Group's results for the nine months ended 31 March 2019 have been adversely affected by, among other factors, the following: the voluntary winding up of the subsidiary, HMV Marketing; and an impairment on the goodwill and intangible assets in relation to the voluntary winding up of HMV Marketing. The Board would like to emphasize that the impairment loss on the goodwill and intangible assets is a non-cash item and has no effect on the Group's daily operations and cash flow.
