Interior View Of the Terminal

The project constructed a new international terminal and supporting facilities. The terminal incorporates Melanesian ethnic elements in its design. It uses aluminum panels with wooden veneers for the interior ceiling to fully demonstrate the natural landscape and cultural customs of the Solomon Islands. The project also enhances the terminal's earthquake resistance and fire protection.

The completion of this project will significantly increase the passenger throughput capacity of Munda International Airport, promote transportation connectivity between the Solomon Islands and surrounding regions, and boost the development of local tourism and related industries.
