RESIGNATION OF JOINT COMPANY SECRETARY

The board of directors (the "Board") of Chinalco Mining Corporation International (the "Company") announces that Ms. Mok Ming Wai ("Ms. Mok") has resigned as a joint company secretary of the Company with effect from 28 January 2016. Ms. Mok has confirmed that she has no disagreement with the Board and there is no other matter relating to her resignation that needs to be brought to the attention of the shareholders of the Company and The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited.

Following the resignation of Ms. Mok, the other joint company secretary of the Company, Mr. Du Qiang, will remain in office as the sole company secretary of the Company.

The Board would like to take this opportunity to express its sincere gratitude to Ms. Mok for her contributions to Company during her tenure of office.
