ChitogenX CEO Phil Deschamps joined Proactive's Natalie Stoberman with news of the company's latest federal grant and partnership deal with Polytechnique Montréal to expand the ORTHO- R platform in regenerative medicine.
Deschamps said the company has obtained a $3,472,000 grant from The Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) and Prima Québec and will collaborate with Polytechnique Montréal throughout the four-year grant period to advance the scientific development, expand the scope of indications, develop new biomaterials for regenerative medicine and accelerate the commercial readiness of its flagship ORTHO-R technology platform.
