Cineworld Appoints Kevin Ozan to Board of Directors

London, August 9, 2023 - The reorganised Cineworld group, including its newly incorporated parent company ("Cineworld" and, together with its subsidiaries, the "Group"), today announces the appointment of Kevin Ozan, a highly strategic executive with significant financial expertise, to the board of Cineworld (the "Board"), effective immediately.

"Kevin is a proven leader with a successful track record leading a global consumer-centric business model. His strategic skills, financial acumen and professional history of growth will be helpful to Cineworld and its businesses around the world."

Ozan most recently served as Senior Executive Vice President of Strategic Initiatives at McDonald's Corporation, where he accelerated and guided the company's growth strategy. Previously, Kevin served as McDonald's Chief Financial Officer for more than seven years. During his time as CFO, McDonald's grew systemwide sales, increased the number of restaurants worldwide, and returned value to shareholders through dividends and share repurchases. Prior to joining McDonald's in 1997, Ozan worked for 11 years in Ernst & Young's audit and mergers & acquisitions practices.

With the appointment of Ozan, the Board's size has been expanded to eight members. As previously announced, a slate of directors has been appointed to the Board to oversee the Group and its strategic direction. In addition to Foss and Ozan, the Board is comprised of Chief Executive Officer Eduardo Acuna, Ann Sarnoff, Patrick J. Bartels, Stephen (Steve) Joyce, Stefano Malfitano and Blythe J. McGarvie.
