CITIC Resources Holdings Limited is an investment holding company mainly engaged in the exploration and sale of natural resources. The Aluminum Smelting segment is engaged in the operation of the portland aluminium smelter (PAS), which sources alumina and produces aluminum ingots in Australia. The Crude Oil segment is engaged in the operation of oilfields and the sale of oil in Indonesia and China. The Import and Export of Commodities segment is engaged in the export of various commodity products, such as aluminum ingots, coal, iron ore, alumina and copper. It is also involved in the import of other commodity products and manufactured goods, such as steel, and vehicle and industrial batteries and tires in Australia. The Coal segment is engaged in the operation of coal mines and the sale of coal in Australia.
