Civista Bancshares, Inc. Announces Executive Changes, Effective January 1, 2018

At its December, 2017 meeting, the Board of Directors of Civista Bancshares, Inc. confirmed the appointment of Dennis G. Shaffer as Chief Executive Officer of the company and Chief Executive Officer and President of Civista Bank. Mr. Shaffer's appointment to these positions will be effective on January 1, 2018, upon the retirement of James O. Miller from the same positions. Mr. Shaffer, joined the company and the Bank in 2009 and has served as Executive Vice President of the company and President of the Bank since 2014.
Civista Bancshares, Inc. is a financial holding company. The Company, through its subsidiary, Civista Bank, is engaged in the business of community banking. Civista Bank through its locations in the Ohio counties of Erie, Crawford, Champaign, Cuyahoga, Franklin, Huron, Logan, Madison, Montgomery, Ottawa, Richland, Henry, Wood, and Summit, in the Indiana counties of Dearborn and Ripley and in the Kentucky county of Kenton, conducts a general banking business that involves collecting customer deposits, making loans, purchasing securities, and offering Trust services.
