In May 2016, Clarion Co., Ltd. (President and COO: Hidetoshi Kawamoto; hereinafter 'Clarion') will establish the joint venture company 'Wuhan 楽庭軟件技術 Co., Ltd.' (hereinafter '楽庭軟件') through joint investment with the Chinese software developer Wuhan KOTEI Informatics Co., Ltd. (Representative Director: Dunyao Zhu; hereinafter 'KOTEI'). The new company will begin trading in June.

Clarion and KOTEI have previously built a collaborative relationship through the contracting of software development for in-vehicle equipment and other activities. Aiming to strengthen its software development system in China, attract new customers and enhance its product planning capabilities, Clarion has established 楽庭軟件 in order to respond with even greater agility not only to the needs of the Chinese and wider Asian markets, but also to those of the global market.
