Clear Channel Outdoor, an OOH advertising firm, is honoring Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month in a digital campaign, according to a press release.

The campaign aims to celebrate AAPI heritage, honoring a group of more than 24 million Americans, including 50+ ethnic groups, from 40+ different countries.

Inspired by the Federal Asian Pacific American Council (FAPAC) 2024 theme of "Advancing Leaders," the Clear Channel Outdoor theme is "Meet the Pioneers," and was executed in partnership with Daryl Quitalig, art director at CCO-Midwest.

The campaign honors visionaries and leaders, including:

  • Jensen Huang, CEO, Nvidia, $2 trillion AI chipmaker.
  • Steve Chen, co-founder, YouTube.
  • Yoky Matsouka, robotics expert.
  • Mei-Ann Chen, artistic advisor, Springfield Symphony Orchestra.
  • Modesto "Larry" Itliong, union organizer.
  • Dr. Vivek Murthy, U.S. Surgeon General.
  • Lily Singh, actress, comedian, brand owner.
  • I.M. Pei, renowned architect.
