On September 14, 2021, Century Bancorp, Inc. (the "Company") issued a press release, a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated herein by reference, announcing that the Company's Board of Directors voted a regular quarterly dividend of 18.00 cents ($0.18) per share on the Company's Class A common stock, and 9.00 cents ($0.09) per share on the Company's Class B common stock. The dividends were declared payable October 15, 2021, to shareholders of record on October 1, 2021.

It offers a range of services to commercial enterprises, state and local governments and agencies, non-profit organizations, and individuals. It operates banking offices in cities and towns in Massachusetts, ranging from Braintree in the south to Andover in the north. Its customers consist of small and medium-sized businesses and retail customers, as well as local governments and institutions throughout Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Connecticut and New York. It provides commercial loans; real estate and construction loans, and consumer loans, and accepts savings, time and demand deposits.
