Sogefi: Monica Mondardini appointed chairman, Laurent Hebenstreit Chief Executive

Yann Albrand new Chief Financial Officer

Milan, June 5 2015 - The Board of Directors of Sogefi S.p.A. met today to appoint the new top management.

Laurent Hebenstreit, as announced on April 27, has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer of the company. Mr Hebenstreit, 54, is a French national and a graduate in Engineering from the École Centrale in Paris. He has had extensive international experience in the automotive components sector and has held important positions in Faurecia, Plastic Omnium, Allied Signal Automotive and Valeo. During his career, he has managed global businesses with annual revenues of between 2 and 3 billion euro, gaining experience in complex restructuring processes as well. Mr Hebenstreit has been co-opted on to the Board of Directors to replace resigning director Giuseppe Gianoglio.
At the proposal of Chairman Rodolfo De Benedetti, the Board appointed Ms Monica Mondardini as Chairman of the company. Ms Mondardini is the Chief Executive of the parent company CIR and since last October has also been Deputy Chairman of Sogefi. The directors thanked outgoing Chairman Rodolfo De Benedetti, who will remain on the Board as a director, for his contribution to the growth of the company over the last ten years. The Board then wished the new management of the company every success in its new role.

Lastly, in view of the new organization of the administration, finance and control function of the group, Mr Giancarlo Coppa, current Group CFO and Investor Relator, has decided to leave Sogefi to pursue new professional opportunities. At the request of the company, he will however continue in his role as Investor Relator and executive responsible for the preparation of the company's financial statements until July 31 2015. The Board of Directors thanked Mr Coppa for the work he has done in six years of collaboration and wished him all the best for his professional future. The company has appointed Yann Albrand as the new Chief Financial Officer. Albrand, 57, is of French nationality, graduated from Sciences Po Paris and has an MBA from the ESSEC Business School. He has consolidated experience of finance and administration management in important companies in various sectors. He comes from Urbania, the French real-estate company, where he was finance director for four years. Previously he worked for Marsh France (insurance brokerage) for ten years as deputy general manager with responsibility for finance and operations, for three years for Consodata (data management) as finance director and for nine years in the Lagardère group (Hachette Livre) with various management positions in finance and control. He began his career as an auditor working for Arthur Andersen.
