Enzumo Limited announced that it has always been the intention that Warren Chant and Andrea West would hand over the CEO role at the appropriate time, and the Board of the company announced that Brendan Burwood has accepted the position of CEO elect and director, commencing on 25 September 2017. The company expects Brendan to take over formally as CEO at the upcoming Annual General Meeting, which is scheduled for 28 November 2017. Warren and Andrea will continue as joint CEOs until that time.

Brendan has a track record in building, leading and growing businesses across a range of industries including financial services, aged care, digital media and entertainment, direct to customer retailing and fast-moving consumer goods. Most recently, he was co-founder and Managing Director of ipac Financial Care. The succession plan also includes the restructure of the Board.

Brendan will be appointed to the Board immediately, with his election subject to shareholder approval at this year's AGM. Andrea's appointment to the Board (effective 24 February 2017) will also be subject to shareholder approval at the AGM. Warren will become Chairman of the Board from the date of the AGM.

Niall Cairns will step down as Chairman at that time but will remain on the Board. Apart from their directorships, Warren and Andrea will have a close continuing involvement with the operating businesses by chairing key operational committees. Warren will chair the Research & Consulting Committee, while Andrea will chair the Product Development Committee and the Sales and Marketing Committee.

This is in addition to any involvement they may have in Board committees including the Remuneration & Nomination Committee and the Audit & Risk Management Committee.
