Countrywide plc, the UK's largest property services group, has won two top accolades at the prestigious Estate Agency of the Year Awards 2015, held in association with The Times and The Sunday Times.

For the second consecutive year, Countrywide received Gold for National Estate Agency of the Year and for the third time in four years; Countrywide Land & New Homes took the Gold award for New Homes Estate Agency of the Year.

The awards are judged by a panel of industry experts and are one of the most well-known and prestigious events in the industry's calendar, held on Friday 4 December at Lancaster Gate Hotel, London.

For the National Estate Agency of the Year award, the judges praised Countrywide saying, 'Countrywide is a sincere agency with exemplary focus on customer service. It has improved and extended its service as a direct result of the feedback received from clients. The panel was impressed with Launchpad, Countrywide's integrated tablet technology.

'Countywide combines the best of corporate agency reach and investment with focussed and bespoke service akin to a family owned enterprise, and is a deserving gold winner again.'
The judges praised Countrywide Land & New Homes saying: 'The business has developed its range of services to house builders and there is very much a sense of a joined up approach across the whole of the Countrywide business, including Lambert Smith Hampton, Countrywide Surveyors and the most recent acquisitions of the highly regarded new homes experts Preston Bennett and Greene & Co.

'Furthermore the data the business is able to provide to house builders to assist in acquisition work was very good and the way in which this information is shared either directly or through live events was structured very well.'

Commenting Sam Tyrer, Managing Director for Retail, Countrywide said:

'We are delighted to scoop the National Estate Agency of the Year award for the second year running. We want our people and customers to be proud of us and this award is testament to our excellent people, and their ongoing commitment and expertise which has been recognised by the judges. Winning this award is another great achievement for our business.'

Commenting James Poynor, Group Land & New Homes Director for Countrywide Land and New Homes said:

'We are absolutely delighted to have been recognised as Gold winners in such a hotly contested category and thrilled that the emphasis we place on providing a dedicated and specialist New Homes service to house builders has been recognised by the judges.
'For Countrywide Land & New Homes, providing additional value and going above and beyond for our clients is central to everything we do. Whether it is through providing local insight with our Market Research Reports or debating key industry issues through our business events, we strive to ensure our expertise is truly market-leading.'
