Keppel Infrastructure : New CEO appointed for City Gas

KEPPEL INFRASTRUCTURE TRUST

Keppel Infrastructure Fund Management Pte Ltd (KIFM), as Trustee-Manager of Keppel Infrastructure Trust (KIT), is pleased to announce that Mr Kenny Tan Chuan Huat (陈全发) has been appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of City Gas Pte Ltd, as trustee of City Gas Trust (City Gas), with effect from 1 August 2016.

Mr Kenny Tan, 50, will succeed Mr Teo Kwan Hai (张光海), who will relinquish his position as Acting CEO of City Gas. Mr Teo will take on a new role as Head, Regulations & Technical Support Division and Project Director, Special Projects Division of City Gas, effective from the same date.

Mr Khor Un-Hun (许恩瀚), CEO of KIFM, said, 'Since his appointment as Acting CEO in 2014, Kwan Hai has led the team to steadily grow City Gas' business from 700,000 customers to over 760,000 customers despite the challenging market conditions. We would like to express our appreciation for his dedication, service and leadership for delivering creditable results.'

Commenting on Mr Kenny Tan's appointment, Mr Khor said, 'Kenny brings onboard a wealth of diversified experience and a proven track record in the gas and public utilities sector. I am confident that Kenny will be able to lead City Gas onto its next stage of growth.'

Before joining City Gas, Mr Kenny Tan had been the Head of Energy and Feedstock (Asia Pacific) of Linde Gas Asia Pte Ltd since August 2011. Prior to that, he held various senior positions in operations, supply and marketing functions at SP PowerGrid Ltd, Gas Supply Pte Ltd and City Gas.

Mr Kenny Tan holds a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore and a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering with First Class Honours from the University of Bradford, United Kingdom.
