California United Bank (“CUB” or “the Company”), a subsidiary of CU Bancorp (NASDAQ: CUNB), today announced that Arthur Bergmann has joined the Company as a Senior Vice President for the Orange County Commercial Lending Office in Irvine, Calif.

“Arthur is a seasoned lender with more than 15 years of relationship-based banking experience in commercial lending, credit underwriting and management,” said K. Brian Horton, President of California United Bank and CU Bancorp. “He is a proven producer and leader with extensive knowledge of the Orange County market, and will be a strong addition to our team. We are very excited to have Arthur join us.”

Prior to joining CUB, Bergmann was a Vice President with Citizens Business Bank, starting as a Relationship Manager in 2008 and becoming the Business Financial Center Manager in 2012. Before that, he was with Cal National Bank and Wells Fargo Capital Markets.

Bergmann holds an MBA in Finance from the USC Marshall School of Business and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Arizona. He is currently enrolled in the Pacific Coast Banking School.

Bergmann is a Board Member of the USC Marshall School of Business Marshall Partners and a Dive Volunteer for the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach.
