Los Angeles, California: DDD Group plc (AIM: DDD; OTCQX: DDDGY), the advanced imaging and 3D solutions company, announces that SplitmediaLabs Ltd has launched XSplit Gamecaster Version 2.5 incorporating support for DDD's TriDef® SmartCam™ software. The new XSplit Gamecaster software is being demonstrated by SplitmediaLabs in MSI's exhibit booth at the popular gamescom 2015 conference that runs from August 5th to 9th in Cologne, Germany.

XSplit Gamecaster is a live streaming and recording solution that allows users to upload and share their greatest gaming moments to popular video services, such as YouTube and Twitch, at the click of a button.

The integration of TriDef SmartCam results in a much simpler chroma key solution using a normal webcam. TriDef SmartCam delivers revolutionary background removal without the need for an expensive lighting setup and green screen. Game players can now overlay themselves onto the game video very easily and quickly to further personalise their game content.

Visitors to MSI's booth at gamescom 2015 will have the opportunity to experience the new TriDef SmartCam feature. More information on how to use TriDef SmartCam with XSplit Gamecaster can be found at www.tridef.com/xsplit.

In 2014, more than 700 exhibitors from 47 countries presented their latest products to 335,000 visitors who attended gamescom 2014.

Chris Yewdall, Chief Executive of DDD, said:
"gamescom 2015 is an ideal show case for the new XSplit Gamecaster with TriDef SmartCam. The team at SplitmediaLabs has gone the extra mile by allowing their end users to control the TriDef SmartCam natively using XSplit Gamecaster, delivering a seamless chroma key experience for their end users."

Henrik Levring, Chief Executive of SplitmediaLabs, said:
"Our team has worked closely to integrate TriDef SmartCam into our XSplit product line and we are excited to bring this simple and effective solution for background replacement to our growing user base."
